Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
As a Chief Executive Officer, Anand is responsible for driving the company’s overall strategy and day-to-day operations. Anand has more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in product design and development. Prior to founding AppViewX, he was a key technologist in various startups, notably the online trading platform Tradeweb, where he spearheaded product development of trading and post-trade systems. The platform saw a total trade volume that surpassed $100 trillion, and later Tradeweb was acquired by Thomson Financials.
Beyond product engineering experience, Anand is a visionary leader and has mentored and groomed various teams in multiple business practice areas. He travels globally and builds relationships, promoting the business and conducting socioeconomic reforms.
He actively engages in corporate social responsibility initiatives, adopts villages, and drives the villages toward a self-sufficiency model. Anand holds a master of science degree in industrial engineering – human factors from Clemson University.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operations Officer, Karunya plays an important role in managing global delivery, process excellence and strategic corporate initiatives. Karunya comes with a strong techno-functional background and having worked with various firms in New York City, she brings over a decade of experience in business operations and management.
Prior to her current role, Karunya has steered a well-known Industry group and has extensive experience managing business processes, operations and profit and loss of a business unit.
Karunya has a master’s degree in computer software engineering from PSG College of Technology in India.
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
As chief technology officer, Murali is responsible for the overall product vision, development, and technical direction of AppViewX. Before joining the company, he served as senior vice president at Bank of America, where he led an architecture and engineering team of e-commerce application delivery.
Prior to that, Murali was vice president of architecture and product engineering at Merrill Lynch. He has designed and developed automation and integration solutions for servers, application delivery controllers, IP services, and networking.
Murali is an electronics and communication engineer from Bharathiyar University in India. Currently he is based out of New York.
Executive Vice President of Global Sales
Prabhakar heads Global Sales and Customer Success for AppViewX and is responsible for overall customer satisfaction leading to long term relationships. Prabhakar comes with more than 15 years of experience in data engineering and project management. Prior to AppViewX, Prabhakar was principal director – engineering data management at a global engineering firm with 60,000 employees and revenue of more than $10 billion in 2011.
Prabhakar has held various leadership positions and was responsible for setting up operations in new geographies, leading profit and loss performance units, and enterprise IT strategy. He successfully led adoption of enterprise IT tools for data management on projects totaling US $4 billion across multiple lines of business. Prabhakar led enterprise-wide initiatives in evaluation, pilot implementation, and deployment of various commercial applications. He chaired information management practices for many projects totaling US $2 billion in invested capital across multiple locations across the US, Ireland, mainland China, and Brazil. Prabhakar’s track record includes working on a number of award-winning projects, including winning a CIO 100 award in 2014.
Prabhakar is an engineering and management graduate from the University of Madras, Bharathiar University in India and Rutgers University in the US. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
As EVP of marketing and business development, Mark is responsible for AppViewX’s products and go-to-market strategy. He brings to the team more than 28 years of experience in the tech industry, with a major focus in the security space, working with some of the industry bests. Previously Mark was vice president at F5 Networks, where he owned the security portfolio and strategy. Mark and his team also built the business case for and launched Silverline, the F5aaS offering.
Prior to that, Mark held product leadership roles at Avaya, Hifn, and Nokia, he was chief technology officer and founder at Semaphore Communications, where the first enterprise VPN solution was built and sold to the market.
Mark attended Kansas State University and is based out of Seattle, Washington.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kamaraj joined AppViewX in April 2012 as chief financial officer (CFO) and is responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, and legal activities. Kamaraj has 38 years of experience in banking and finance, having worked for various enterprises globally.
He is passionate and works with tremendous drive, enthusiasm, and limitless energy. Prior to joining the AppViewX team, Kamaraj was general manager at Coastal Energy and CFO at Oreva Group.
He holds a postgraduate degree in commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University and a bachelor’s degree in law from Annamalai University with a diploma in management.
As an Advisor, Manny brings more than 30 years of tech expertise to the table and is responsible for developing and supporting the company’s vision and strategy. Prior to AppViewX, he held key leadership roles as CEO at F5 Networks and SVP at Cisco Systems.
He is a natural problem-solver and is hands-on when it comes to tackling complex business opportunities. He has successfully applied technology at a practical level to drive profitable growth, innovation, productivity, and operational excellence.
In the past, he has been responsible for launching and driving new market adjacencies, strategy, product management, marketing, and business and corporate development.
He has been a director of Apollo Education Group since March 2009 and is a member of the Compensation Committee. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
