We’re back from Chicago after a very eventful week at the Agility event!

This is the 5 th consecutive year we’re sponsoring the event, and we see it only getting better each time.

This time around, our experience at the event was different, as we donned the hat of a presenter. Our very own Mark Vondemkamp (EVP, Marketing and Business Development) hosted a breakout session that debunked a popular SDN myth at Grand Suites 5.

The 50-minute session was geared to educate Infrastructure & Operations (IO) leaders on the need to invest in automation and orchestration strategies beyond SDN. It was a super interactive session, and we had a great time presenting our thoughts to the attendees.

Apart from that, we also heard from F5 CEO John McAdam on the future for the company, followed by John DiLullo (EVP, Worldwide Sales – F5) and Ian Jones (SVP F5 Services), who discussed the latest security issues and hybrid cloud potential. We then had F5’s Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development, Karl Triebes, share details on F5’s vision and product roadmap.

These presentations gave all attendees, including us, a glimpse of F5’s approach and what we can expect from them in the future. This was topped off by two great guest keynotes by Mike Ebeling, CEO of Not impossible Labs, and Mike Ditka, legendary football coach and TV commentator – highlighting the key characteristics people need to achieve their personal and professional goals. Very inspiring!

At the buzzing solutions expo, we met many executives, engineers, customers, partners and industry experts, and shared with them upcoming product updates. It was great connecting with new people and reconnecting with our friends in the industry during the course of the event.

Our team had their hands full at the expo, sharing insights on how AppViewX helps optimize ROI on F5 devices. It was a melting pot of ideas with technology leaders and decision markers sharing their thoughts on latest trends – and we learned a lot and took home a bag of insights.

To sum it up, we would say it was a great success! And, we can’t wait to be a part of it again the next year.
