Position Summary:

The Solution Engineer will act as an anchor, guiding Sales team with effective communication, solutions and evaluation. The engineer will display absolute command over technical, relational and analytical aspects of a superior product pipeline development.

Nature and Scope of the Role:

  • You will support customer through every stage, from Proof of Concept planning to evaluation to ensure a smooth transition to the next stage
  • You will engage in strategic discussions to identify solutions and target upsell / cross-sell opportunities
  • You will attend tradeshows and visit onsite customers to strengthen company goals
  • You will manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with Sales team to simplify pre-sales process of Demo, Eval and Closure for customers
  • You will understand the customer needs and requirements in-depth to offer a hyper-personalized product demo and improve customer processes
  • You will encourage teamwork through strong relationship management and positive influence
  • You will create a feedback and review system to find and resolve customer issues and deliver solution in an effective, timely manner
  • You will become a subject matter expert (SME) of the company product and its connected network technologies
  • You will engage with Product Management team on a regular basis to design new requirements, product roadmap and enhancements

Primary Skillset:

  • You know networking concepts as well as PKI, Cryptography and Firewalls like the back of your hand
  • You have, over the years, refined your troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • You can communicate with business and technical prospects in clear and valuable manner
  • You propose unconventional solutions with high success rate to enterprise customers
  • You don’t stop until you achieve your team’s goals
  • You have worked on Linux and might also have knowledge of Cloud, SDN, Virtualization and programming languages
